Shot Peening and Blasting for Structural Components
Structural machines are designed for zone peening and blasting. The machine has a rectangular table that moves on a horizontal axis. The series of nozzles are pointed in a circle providing multiple angles. The nozzles are mounted on a horizontal axis 90 degrees to the table axis. The nozzles also have a vertical axis for taller parts. The operator places the large parts on the table then instructs the operator interface of where that part is located on the table by clicking 6"x6" boxes on the screen. The machine will now only peen in those highlighted areas. Multiple shot delivery systems can also be purchased to allow for greater flexibility in process applications.
