Robotic CNC Shot Peening and Blast Machines
CNC machines offer exact and repeatable nozzle position for exceptional control of peening and blasting processes. CNC is the flexible method of peening or blasting a wide range of parts. CNC shot peening offers precise nozzle to part motion control that allows for the correct shot peening and blasting intensity to occur throughout the part. Correct intensity's will allow for easy Almen strip saturation verification to occur. Controllers are off the shelf and use industry wide G code commands. The controllers service life is measured in decades. Optional CIMCAP a PC based passive computer program allows for a novice to learn how to program the CNC programs in a few days. A simple click on a specific CIMCAP icon and the program will write the G code line for the programmer. CIMCAP is also used for process monitoring and alarm management.
SS series CNC has a 3 axis nozzle manipulator (X,Z and optional nozzle tilt) with a fourth rotary spindle axis. This machine will peen or blast most part applications to the most demanding specifications at a low capital equipment cost. The enclosure size is 48" wide x 60" deep and can process most parts up to 24" diameter x 36" tall.
ML Series CNC has a 4 axis nozzle manipulator, X, Z, optional nozzle tilt, optional nozzle yaw and optional table slide with a standard rotary spindle axis. Enclosure size is 60" deep x 90" wide and can process most parts up to 42" in diameter x 48" tall.
S Series CNC has a 4 axis nozzle manipulator, X, Z, optional nozzle tilt, optional nozzle yaw and optional table slide with a standard rotary spindle axis. Enclosure size is 48" deep x 60" wide and can process most parts up to 32" in diameter x 42" tall.
M Series CNC has a 4 axis nozzle manipulator, X, Z, optional nozzle tilt, optional nozzle yaw and optional table slide with a standard rotary spindle axis. Enclosure size is 60" deep x 74" wide and can process most parts up to 36" in diameter x 48" tall.
L Series CNC has a 4 axis nozzle manipulator, X, Z, optional nozzle tilt, optional nozzle yaw and optional table slide with a standard rotary spindle axis. Enclosure size is 66" deep x 100" wide and can process most parts up to 54" in diameter x 60" tall. Horizontal axis also available.
